What would be possible if you chose to release all judgment of yourself?

Who would you be?

I posed this question to the ladies in my mastermind today and it brought up a range of emotions.

We’re constantly consumed by how others will perceive us…

If they’ll poke holes in our arguments…

Think less of us based on our opinions…

It’s why they say entrepreneurship is the best self improvement and awareness tool out there.

When we judge others,

We’re really judging ourselves.

And I’ll be the first one to say I’m incredibly critical of myself.

To the point where it feels not just paralyzing but physically damaging.

(Hello Sciatica.)

If I spoke to others the way I speak to myself, I’d have no friends.

I’m working on acceptance,

I’m becoming more aware of my language,

I’m appreciating my own idiosyncrasies that make me, me.

So catch yourself in your judgments.

Explore the damaging thought patterns.

And finally - cut yourself some F*ing slack.

Being kind to yourself is the start.

Being kind to others sets you apart.
